Snow and Ice

When we got back to Idaho Falls there was a lot of snow. They plow the roads so that the piles of snow are in the middle of the road, making a barrier. Then they clean it up in the middle of the night when there isn't any traffic. This morning when we went to Church there was huge ice hanging down from the roof. I couldn't believe how big they got!

Our week in Burley

On Christmas day we drove to Burley to be with the Gerratt family. Becky and Kenna stayed until Saturday- Warren left Wednesday and came back on Friday because he had to work. Saturday morning we went to Twin Falls with Grandpa and Grandma Gerratt to see the Temple - it is really pretty.

Christmas

On Christmas Eve, Kenna went sledding with Uncle Greg. She did not like it at all! Maybe next year will be better. Christmas morning we woke up to find a gift for Kenna from Santa. A cute cabage patch doll! After opening up presents we went to Grandpa and Grandma Haws for scones and a few more presents. About 10:30 am we drove to Burley to spend time with the Gerratt family. What a great time and it is not even over yet.

Candy Cane

Kenna loves candy canes! She found this in a package at Grandma Haws house and started eating. A very cute sticky mess!

3 1/2 days!!!

I am so excited for Christmas- Only 3 and 1/2 more days!

Idaho Falls vs. Minico

Last night was the Idaho Falls boys basketball game. We took Kenna to watch the game- I am sure she had a headache after watching them play. She followed all the movement the whole time. The best thing about the game is that we creamed Minico! Go Tigers!!!

Rachel comes to play

Melanie called and asked if I would watch Rachel for a few hours Tuesday night. Kenna loved having a play mate! They chased each other around the couch, pushed and grabbed at each other. We had a great time.

Dirty Job

Today Warren put installation in our attic. Greg came over to help, as did a few other people. I am so glad that it is done. And that my house will be warmer!!!

Christmas Tree

I was going to wait to put up the tree, but I just couldn't wait any longer. Warren helped me move the couch and table so that Kenna can't reach the tree- we hope.

Kenna loves to dance! Whenever she hears music, she rocks back and forth. So cute!
I don't actually have a picture of it- these are when she grabbed my brush while I was doing my hair.

Favorite Things

Kenna's new favorite things to do are: move the curtains and wave and talk to whoever is walking or driving by our house and to sneak into the bathroom when mom isn't looking and try to turn on the water.

BYU vs. UTAH

Around here most people are BYU fans. Yesterday BYU play University of Utah. I didn't think much of it until I put Kenna down for a nap then walked into the living room. Looking out my front window I saw that my neighbor Jennifer, put this flag up.

10 months

Today Kenna is 10 months old. I can't believe how fast time has flown. We have been pretty busy today. Kenna got her Christmas pictures taken and then shopped at the mall with mom. The line to see Santa was empty- so we got Kenna's picture taken with Santa. All that wore Kenna out and she was sound asleep when we got home.

I liked the way this house looks.

This past weekend my cousin John got married in the Monticello Temple. Friday night we left Idaho Falls and drove to Orem. Saturday morning we got up early and drove the rest of the way to Monticello. After the wedding luncheon we drive back to Orem, and today we came back home. Kenna did okay most of the way- for which I am very grateful.

Kenna is walking a little bit. Holds on to our hands and walks or walks around the couches. Look out - Here she comes!

Halloween

Well, I wasn't planning on dressing Kenna up tonight- but I guess Warren had other ideas. He told me that he had a surprise for me and took Kenna over to his parents house. A few minutes later he came back for me and when I got to his parents this is what I found. Warren had some friends pick it up when they went to Seattle and was going to wait to give it to Kenna at Christmas, but said this made more sense.
