Sister Pictures

Here are some pictures of the girls and of Kylie up on her knees. She will be crawling pretty soon- so look out here she comes!

Girliy- Girl

Kenna is all girl-Yesterday I put curlers in her hair- and she left them in. Her hair was so cute. (but I didn't get a picture of it done up- and it was flat after church, because she took a nap.) After we took the curlers out, she wanted a bow in and left it there for a whole hour! Today she found nail polish and wanted some so we painted her nails. Next she wanted lotion- so we put lotion on. Such a girl- and way cute!

With her dress on and curlers in.

Her cute pink nails.

Blowing on her nails to make them dry- (just copying her mom)

Talking- Kind of

Kenna is saying more words every day. She now goes behind the couch and peaks up, saying "Boo!" - And when she see the ghost inside the pumpkin at Warren's work- she says "Boo!"
Another word that she has started to say is Kylie. She points to her, says Kylie, then gives her a kiss on the head.

6 months

Today Kylie is 6 months old. It is crazy how fast she is growing. She was trying to sit up on her own this morning. She will be mobile before I even realize it.

Oh-so innocent...

These two girls probably have everyone else fooled-but not me! The look so innocent and yet... SO MUCH LAUNDRY!!! Just when I think that everything is all caught up, I come back upstairs and picked Kylie up and she was SOAKED! So now the laundry is piling up again...I just can not believe how many outfits they can go through in one day.

Kenna playing hide and seek with me.

Kylie grabbed the handle of the diaper bag, then rolled over- I didn't even know that she could reach it!

Kenna's new booster seat at the table.

I told Kenna we were going bye and to go get her jacket, she came back like this. At least she is learning.

Kenna riding the horse at Walmart. About every other time we let her play on the toys while one of us checks out. Once a month we put coins in for her to ride the horse.

Nightly Routine

Lately we have been trying harder to follow a nightly schedule. We get the girls fed, washed, changed, and then have family prayer and scripture study before laying Kenna down for bed. Tonight Kenna slurped down her spaghetti and pasta salad then ran to the tub to play with her fishy toys. When she had finished splashing to her satisfaction she climbed out and found her Elmo tooth brush and her mother's blow dryer. When she felt that she was pretty enough (Greg taught her the sign for pretty) she ran out of the bathroom while I tried to clean up after her. Once I was finished I went out to the living room to look for Kenna and this is what I found...

Kenna was ready for our family prayer. We are so lucky to have a little girl that holds us to our nightly routine!

Time Flies!!

Kenna is 20 months old today- that means that in 4 short months she will be two years old! She is saying more words (although most I can't understand.) Before taking her picture I asked her if she wanted a bow in her hair- She pointed to her head and said "bow?" And kept repeating it until I put in her hair. A new thing that she has learned is the hot and cold on the bath tub to turn them on. Warren taught her that - and she is a very fast learner.

Kylie is starting to get up on her knees and rock back and forth- She smiles and laughs a lot while doing it. (Maybe that is because I am telling her "NO Kylie, you are too little to do that!") She will be 6 months on Friday- that is so crazy to me. She is watching Kenna in the picture and I couldn't get her to look at me.

What's Cook'n?

I love my crock-pot! I used my small one every once in a while, but since my mom has brought me my big one- it has been used every other day! Tonight we had taco soup-YUM!
(I am not sure why the picture is sideways-)

And here are a couple of pictures of the girls everyone loves so much! (After a few minutes-or seconds, Kenna decides that she no longer wants Kylie sitting next to her, so she pushes her away.)

Kenna didn't want her picture taken- She wanted to do the picture taking!

The girls ready for church. (I know my eyes are closed, but the one with my eyes open, the little girls didn't look at the camera.

Army Crawl

Kylie is starting to do the army crawl thing to get places. I am not sure how she figured it out, but last night she was doing it and moving pretty fast too! Here she is sitting up.

Here is Kenna reading the Friend magazine instead of eating her breakfast.

Our Fence

This summer we have done a lot of yard work- and got our fence up. At the beginning of the summer Warren and the Young Men in our ward took down the shed. On one Saturday, Warren took out all the bushes and trees along the fence line. The next Monday our Bishop came over with his pick-up truck and helped us pull out the stumps. A couple of Saturdays later Warren, Greg, and a couple of friends took out two more trees, and filled in holes with dirt. Warren also planted grass that day. (The grass has all come in now and looks great.) On labor day we were ready to put up the fence. My parents, sisters and friend came to help us put it up. Here are a few pictures of that day.

Sunday

Here are pictures of the girls today.

Time for Bed

Kenna is "talking" to Aunt Diane on the phone.

Kylie is ready to crawl! (We just hope she won't figure it out for at least 4 more months.) She pushes up on her arms, then gets up on her knees. She is watching Kenna play with her dad.

Spitting War

Kylie has learned how to spit and loves to spit. So she spits at Kenna (I don't think that it is on purpose.) And Kenna spits back. Then they laugh and laugh and start all over. And everyone thought I had cute girls that would do nice, cute girl things- that didn't include spitting. (I did too.)

Update of Pictures

Our computer is completely dead at this time. I am using a different computer to put pictures on that everyone has been waiting to see. I hope that you enjoy pictures of the girls playing.
