Good News!

Kylie clapped her hands today for the first time. I can't believe how fast she is growing up.

In other news Warren started his studying/training to get his licenses to sell securities. The second thing is that he made summit this last quarter- meaning he gets to go to a special dinner and they recognize him for doing a good job. Congratulations Warren!

Pretty Hair and Walking

When we were at Jenny's house she had some really cute hair things for Ruby. I found some at Walmart and tonight put some in Kenna's hair. They didn't last very long, but at least we got a picture of them. Kylie started to stand on her own and today she took 2 steps. I have been thinking that she would be walking for a long time now- and maybe she will finally start.

Kylie let go of Dad's hand and took 2 steps.

Weekend to Utah

This last weekend we went to visit family in Utah. We left Saturday morning and went to Jenny's house. The kids played all day long. It was a lot warmer there and most of their snow had melted so Kenna was able to go outside and play. The girls enjoyed playing with their cousins and Kenna learned how to say everyone's name. Kenna and Ruby are about 6 weeks apart and it was fun watching them play- and fight over the toys.
On Sunday we went to Beverly's ward and listened to her speak, then went over to Diane's for dinner and a game. Since our 2 girls were the only ones in the ward- they seemed a lot louder than what they really were.
I am glad that I have two really good girls. They did great traveling and being in other homes for a couple of days.

Its about time!

For a long time I kept thinking that Kylie was getting teeth in. I waited and waited and still no teeth. Today she was laughing and I saw a little bit of white in her mouth. I picked her up to see if it was really a tooth and it was!

Funny things the girls do and say...

I love watching the girls learn and grow. Sometimes it gets really frustrating, but it is also a learning and growing experience for me.
Kenna is starting to say so many words. She doesn't always say it more than once, but will copy whatever Warren or I say. Last night I was changing Kenna's diaper and I needed something and I called for Warren. He came and everything was fine- or so we thought. After we put Kenna to bed last night she was talking and then she said "Dad! Dad!" We ignored her, thinking she would go to sleep. A few minutes later we heard her saying something and we were trying to figure out what she was saying. Then we realized what she had said- "Warren! "Warren!" I it was really funny to us and we started laughing. I guess we really do have to watch what we say.

My sister Emily sent this dress to Kenna for her birthday and she insisted that she wear it today.

So disappointing...

Last night I finished the book "Little Women". Although it was really slow and I thought that it could do without a few parts, I still enjoyed reading it. After I finished the book, I thought- Now I can watch the movie. I was really disappointed in the movie. I understand that they have to change it and move things around- because of time, but... They left out so much and really didn't explain things that maybe they should have. The characters seemed- I don't know... not what they were in the book. I know that I should not have expected the movie to be the same as the book, but it will still be awhile before I can watch it again.
