Kenna and Kylie

We play a lot...

Kenna's cheesy smile.

Going down the slide.

Running

Ready for church on Sunday

Getting comfortable after naps. They both wanted all of their blankets and to watch a movie- It lasted about 10 minutes before they were up and playing with their toys.

Playing with Isabelle- we babysat her for an hour each day last week. The girls loved it!

Kenna being silly.

Kylie talking a 2 phones- she doesn't like toy phones- and we don't use either one that she has so we let her play with those.

A 2 year old's logic...

Yesterday Kenna was jumping from a table in our living room to the couch. Warren moved the table out of the room and told Kenna to stop. She continued to jump on the couch so he called Mindy and asked if she would explain to Kenna why we don't jump on furniture. Mindy told Kenna how she jumped on her couch when was little and ended up getting hurt. Today when Kenna was jumping on the couch I told her that we don't jump on furniture and that she shouldn't do it.
Kenna's response: "Mindy do it!"
Me: And Mindy got hurt. You don't want to get hurt like Mindy do you?"
Kenna: "Yes! Hole in head. Sew up. Like Mindy."
Great...

Parade, Park, and Walks...

This week the girls played at the park, and we went on a walk to the bank almost everyday. On Thursday we went over to Joyce's school and watched the end of a volleyball game. Yesterday was the high school Homecoming Parade and Football game. Joyce, Mindy and I took the girls to the parade- and the girls got a ton of candy. Mindy had found cute tiger noses for them to wear and Kenna would shout "Go Tigers!" Today while I helped Joyce and Mindy with the wedding cake, Warren took the girls to the zoo and played with them. I think that they had a good morning because when I got back the girls were sound asleep and Warren was worn out.

Getting ready to go on a walk- this must of have been taken on the cold day this week.

Smiling with her hair done. (I usually don't try and do anything fancy because it doesn't last very long.)

Kylie moved her nose up out of the way so that she could eat the sucker.

What I have been up to...

Mindy's friend got married today and asked her if she would make the cake. Mindy said that she would and then asked me for my help. I was really nervous about the whole thing, but I think it turned out. And the cake didn't get dropped (of course, I wasn't allowed to carry it at all...). Joyce made the cakes and I stacked them and decorated them. Mindy and Joyce made and decorated 200 cupcakes as part of the cake. I think we made a great team, but we are in no hurry to do this again.

The final look.

Our Labor Day Weekend

We had a great weekend- we went to Burley and spent time with my family. Saturday night we went to Lake Cleavland and had dinner, then took a walk around the lake. Sunday we all went to the Spanish Branch with my parents. Monday morning we had a family 5k run (Burke and I rode bikes around the 4 mile). After the race we played soccer- my dad fell and broke his leg and had to have surgery on it to put it back together. We celebrated Emily's birthday, got prizes for finishing the race, and watched a movie. We had a great weekend and was glad that we were able to spend time with family.

Kenna dancing or something at Lake Cleavland.

Kenna was really tired- but wouldn't go to bed so we set up a movie for her to watch...
And within a half hour or so she was sound asleep.

Then her little sister copied her after we put her to bed.
