Fall Leaves

On Thursday, I took the girls out and had them help me rake up the leaves. Then we played in them for a little bit. My parents came up for a surprise visit and took us to lunch. We had a great time and I was glad that my parents were able to come and visit.

Happenings in our neighborhood...

Last night was the Emotional Bowl. It is the football game where Idaho Falls plays Skyline. It is also one of the top 30 rivalries in country. This isn't any high school game- this is the game where everybody that lives in either school boundary show up- or listen to the game. All of the street around the high school was full of cars and you could feel the excitement in the air. Skyline has a really good team this year and Idaho Falls isn't so great. When we turned on the radio at half time the score was 6 to 0- Idaho Falls. We listened to the rest of the game and were so excited every time we scored. Idaho Falls ended up winning 28 to 13 and so this year the goal posts stay ORANGE!!!

And here are some pictures for your enjoyment....

Kylie in her "new" coat- Kenna's old one.

It was so cold last night and Kenna didn't nap, Kylie only took a short nap that we thought that we should stay home and not go to the game. Maybe next year...

A Pro basketball player...

I think that Kylie has the talent to be a pro basketball player. Whenever she is playing with a toy that Kenna wants she holds it close to her and runs the other way. The other day Kylie was upset about something- I am not sure what- and Kenna walked by her, but didn't touch her. Kylie threw herself down and cried, pointing at Kenna. I started laughing and told her that Kenna didn't touch her- but that made her even more mad. Now that she has all of that down we just need to teach her how to dribble and shoot the ball...
