Helping with laundry...

The other day I was putting the laundry away and Kylie took over the basket. She put all of her toys and blankets in it, then climbed in.
(Looks like someone could use another haircut.)

Kenna's Birthday Celebration

My parents came up on Saturday, Jan. 23 and Kenna opened the gift from them and a couple of gifts from us. Then we went to McDonalds for a burger. (That is where Kenna choose to go.- So that she could play on the toys.) After eating we came back to our house and had cupcakes and Ice Cream. Sunday- Kenna wore her new dress to church. That night we had her open presents from Aunt Mindy, Grandma and Grandpa and another one from us. She blew out candles and we had cake and ice cream. She loves playing with all of her new toys and loves her new clothes.

Happy Birthday Kenna!

Playing again...

I asked Kenna what she wanted to do- and she said "Build another tent!"  And so we did.  Here the girls are right outside the tent.  Just before I got the camera the were both laying on their tummys playing memory and it was really cute.
(And can you believe that Kenna is going to be 3 in just a few days???!!)

She is so Funny!

Kenna makes us laugh all the time.  Here are a few things she has said lately:

Mom:  "Kenna, will you share with your sister?" 
Kenna:  (She tilts her head to one side while she thinks about it)  "Well Kylie doesn't need it.  Maybe in a few weeks I can share with her. UM... I think that when we go to Burley for Thanksgiving, then I can give her some."

Mom:  "Kenna, why don't you get dressed?"
Kenna:  "Maybe in a minute." 

Dad:  "Kenna, go wake mom up."
Kenna:  "I can't!  I only have 2 hands!"

I will post some more when I think of them- or when she says them.

Rocking Baby

Kylie loves to rock her baby. As she rocks she rubs the baby's back and says "Shhh." It is so cute to watch.

Giving Loves

This morning Kylie was getting into something she shouldn't have in the bathroom and I told her to she needed to go play with her toys as I took her out of the bathroom. She started crying and ran to Kenna. Kenna put her arms around her and told her "It's okay, Mom doesn't want you in there." Then she rubbed Kylie's back.

Organization

Warren was off this week so he cleaned out and organized our game closet, the front closet, the bookshelves and counters in the kitchen. I kept the girls occupied and cleaned off the bookshelves in the living room. It is so nice to have it cleaned up and organized. We also took one of our couches that was broken to D.I. and then shuffled furniture around. Our downstairs room is almost ready to have toys moved into it and then we can play more down there. Next week we are going to go through the office and get that room cleaned out and organized. It has been so nice to have all of that done and hopefully we can keep it that way for a long time.
