Happy Birthday Kylie!

Today Kylie turned 2. My mom came up and spent some time with her. She opened presents, ate at McDonalds, had a nap, and ate cake. Tonight after Warren got off work we went over to his parents house and opened more presents and ate more cake.

Girly Girl

Kylie loves dresses and nightgowns. For the last few days I can't get her to wear anything else- even with bribes she will not change.
Kylie will be 2 tomorrow- Can you believe it?

2,422 Miles, 8 Days and 4 States

On Wednesday, March 10, we left our house around 8:30 in the morning. We then drove to Logan, picked up Bev and went to eat lunch at McDonald's- to let the girls get their wiggles out. We met Mom and Dad around 1:oo and loaded the van with all the luggage. We (Mom, Dad, Warren, Becky, Beverly, and the girls.) then drove to Salt Lake. Kyle dropped his car off at a friend's house and we took him to the airport. From the airport we drove to Beaver, Utah. We just got as far as we wanted that night. Warren and Beverly swam with the girls that night.

On Thursday, March 11, we drove to St. George, Utah. We got out and walked around the Temple grounds. We then drove to Las Vegas. We drove down the strip while it was still light out, then drove up to the Temple. On the way up to the Temple we saw where the basketball tournament games were being played. We walked around the Temple, and then had a picnic lunch in the church parking lot by the Temple. We then went and checked in to our hotel. We stayed at Circus, Circus right there at the end of the strip. My dad, Warren and I took the girls to look around and we saw all of the big rides and fun things to see inside the hotel. We met mom and Beverly and watched a circus act. Beverly and I went on a roller coaster ride and another ride that spun around while going back and forth. We then went to eat at a buffet- which was really good. The girls were getting tired, so we took them back to our room and got them ready for bed. My mom came in our room to listen for the girls and Beverly, Warren and I walked down to the Bellagio water show. We then walked back at a slower pace to see the strip at night.

On Friday, March 12, we drove to Mesa, AZ. On our way there we stopped for a few minutes to see Hoover Dam. They are building a huge bridge over it and it looks really cool. We got to Aunt Sandie's around 2 in the afternoon. Me, Bev and Warren went to eat at IN-and OUT burger while Mom and Dad helped with the Lucheon stuff and watched our girls. That night we had a nice dinner that Stevie's family put together and served at the hotel.

On Saturday, March 13, Kyle and Stevie were married in the Mesa Temple. We did a lot of pictures before the wedding. Afterwards we had a nice dinner at the Church by the Temple. After the dinner, Diane and Alan and our family drove down to the Tucson Zoo. After the Zoo we drove to the hotel and got ready for the reception. We went to the reception and ate, took pictures and talked with Kyle and Stevie. We left early because the girls were ready for bed.

On Sunday, March 14, we got up and got ready and drove back to Mesa and spent some time with Aunt Sandie. When everyone got to Sandie's house we had lunch and then we drove to Flagstaff where we stayed that night.

On Monday, March 15, we all went to the Grand Canyon. That evening Burke and Emily headed back to Phoenix so that they could fly out the next morning. The rest of us headed to Page to stay there.

On Tuesday, March 16, we went to the Glen Canyon Dam and took a tour. Mom stayed in the visitor center with the girls. We then drove through Zion's Park and had a picnic. We then headed north. Mom and Dad took the girls and they both took really good naps while we had the Diane, Alan, and Beverly in our car. We stopped in Nephi, Utah and switched kids so that we could head to Jenny's and my parents went to my uncle Lynn's. We met up in Orem and stayed there that night.

On Wednesday, March 17, we went back to Jenny's and let the girls play with their cousins. Around 11 we headed home. We got back home around 4 in the afternoon. It was a long time to be gone- but we had a good trip.
