5 Years

Last Friday- The 16th was our 5 year anniversary. Warren had to work that day, but had Saturday off. We decided to drive up to Jackson for the day. I packed a lunch and we headed out. Once we got to Jackson we went and got an old time picture taken. We walked around and then ate lunch in the park. After lunch we walked some more, then headed back. We stopped in Swan Valley on the way back and got square ice cream.
One of Warren's co-workers had gotten married that day and we went to his reception. They had lots of really good authentic Mexican food and a Marachi (SP) band playing. After that we came home and put the girls to bed. My friend Emily came over and we went out on date.
Happy Anniversary to us!

Boating

Kenna has wanted to go boating for a long time. Last Thursday we went to Burley and she got her chance to go. Kenna kept asking Papa if she could touch the water, so dad stopped the boat and we let them get in the water. On Saturday at our family reunion they got a chance to ride in the tube with me.

Our Holiday Weekend

We had a great weekend with friends and family. Saturday morning started early with the parade, and playing at Grandma's house. After the parade we had a barbecue, and took naps. We went back to Grandma's to play with cousins on the slip and slide. Once we dried off and warmed up we played - a lot. We went to a friends barbecue, came back and played some more. Every 4th we make homemade ice cream and this year was no exception. After Ice Cream we got ready to go see the fireworks. We didn't go all the way down to the river this year- but found a nice patch of grass right by the rail-road tracks to watch the fireworks. It was great! Afterward we headed home and to bed. Sunday morning we all went with Warren to Good Sam- for his meetings. Afterward we ate lunch and put the girls down for naps. Sunday after dinner we went over to the Temple Visitor Center and saw the new displays that they have up. Later that night we did our own firework show. This morning we went and said good-bye to our cousins and helped Papa mow his lawn. What a great weekend!

Kenna and Kylie Saturday morning. It was freezing cold, so we put pants and sweatshirts on them.

Kylie on the slip and slide- she didn't like it...
So she went and sat on Grandma's lap the rest of the time.
