More Birthday

On Tuesday, Mindy's gift to Kylie showed up in the mail and yesterday my mom came to visit bringing another gift for Kylie.

Kylie's Stats

Kylie weighs 36 pounds and is 39 inches tall. She is growing well. She talks all the time to anyone who will pay attention to her- including her toys. She is almost potty trained- hopefully by the end of this week.

Sidenote- If you have any kind of pony at your house and we are coming for a visit- you will need to hide it so Kylie can't find it. She took a small pony from Grandma Haws's house the other day and yesterday tried to take the 2 ponies she found in nursery.

Birthday cake- I got a pan that makes little egg shape cakes- I made them up and put them in a shape of a 3. The cake was strawberry with funfittie icing.

Grandpa and Grandma Haws got both girls cute little dresses and ponies. We got her a little rug princess tea set party set, the chair, a set of ABC cards, and the umbrella. She said that she had a good day so that is good.

(Yesterday Warren asked Kylie what she wanted for dinner and her answer was "Cake." He explained that we would have cake after dinner and asked what she wanted for dinner-"Cake." and that is all she wanted.)

Spring Cleaning

I have decided that over the next couple of weeks I am going to clean and organize my house- one room at a time. Yesterday I started the girls room. All of the toys are organized and cleaned up - now we just need to scrub the walls down.

Not sure what to do with this pile of stuffed animals- When I suggested to the girls just putting them in a box and putting them in storage I got 2 very big NO! I guess I am going to have to find some kind of tub or box to store them in.

Productive few days

On Saturday we headed to Burley to have my mom help me get some things done. The first thing we did was get the girls hair cut. We then went shopping and found some cute spring dresses for the girls to wear for pictures. After we got back to mom's and had some lunch we started on all the sewing stuff. We figured out what to do with the blankets that we are making for the girls' beds. Then we made some cloth wipes and some bean bags. We went to church with Mom and Dad, had lunch and headed back home. This morning we got the girls yearly pictures taken- and they turned out so cute. After that today has been a little bit more slow, just cleaning things up and getting stuff ready for Joy School tomorrow.

The diapers got here this morning. On one the orders- I read it wrong and was a little surprised at what I got. I know I will need a few more covers- but other than that I think we have a good start.
