Kenna's 5th birthday was today. She had a great birthday. The celebration began Sunday night at Grandma and Papa Haws's house. My sister Diane was in town for her sister in laws baby blessing- so she was able to join the celebration as well.
This morning we let her open one present - a game- so that she could play it today. She also got a game from Mindy. We played games and watched her new movies from Grandma and Grandpa. Dad took her to get Pizza and breadsticks for lunch and I cooked her favorite chicken and rice for dinner. Our friends came over tonight and had cake and ice cream with us. Richard even played Kenna's new games with her before she had to go to bed.
Her new Scripture case from Grandpa and Grandma Haws.
Scooby Doo - Guess Who from Mindy.
(Yes I know she doesn't have on her glasses- She was giving the "a break")
This morning with her Yahtzee game. (She loves games- and the 2 she got are easy enough for her and Kylie to play together.)
Tonight opening presents.
Daniel got some of the wrapping paper and started tearing.
In her new dress.
Blowing out her candles- Our neighbor's little girl is watching her.

Teeth and 9 months
Daniel is now 9 months old. His second tooth popped through this week- so for now we have a break from the teething. He is getting so big. He has started to walk around the furniture and stands up on his tippytoes to reach things. I tried to get a good picture of his teeth- but it didn't work very well.

Kids
My sister-in-law does a update on all her kids each month on a certain day. My sister also does an update on her daughter. Since I like seeing how my nieces and nephews grow and change- I though I would steal that idea and do an update once a month also.
Kenna: Loves to learn - and is excited to do preschool activities every day
Knows how to count up to 20 and knows the whole alphabet (We are working on matching lower case letters to Upper cases letters.)
Has a lot of energy- and loves to run and play outside
Loves me to read her stories
Loves to play all kinds of games
Kylie: Loves ponies and barbies
Can play on her own for hours and not get bored
Loves me to read her stories
Has a great imagination
Learns really fast
Daniel: Has been crawling for a couple of months now
Pulls himself up on anything he can reach and tries to walk
His first tooth popped through this morning with 3 more trying to come in
Loves to eat- anything you give him
Loves to wrestle his dad- makes funny "battle noises"
Playing in the playhouse today

It's a Dog!
Today Warren is dressed as a dog for Minor Account Day. I am not sure it has helped getting accounts opened or not- but the kids that see it get pretty excited.

Something's Changed...
And it seemed to happen overnight! Yesterday afternoon, when I picked Daniel up from his nap- he looked different to me. I couldn't figure out what it was- but something was different. When I told Warren, he told me that it was that Daniel now looks more like a little boy- and not a baby. Daniel is growing up way too fast!
