Preparations

My brother in law Mike is getting married in a month. They have asked that all the girls be in white dresses- (they are getting sage cardigans) - and the boys are to wear black pants with white shirts-(they are also getting the ties). Of course I am a planner and hate to leave anything to the last minute, so I went out this last week and found the girls cute skirts and white shirts. Today I had Warren go with me and we found me a nice white shirt, the girls and I some white sandals, and Daniel some black pants-(his came in an outfit, but he needed one anyway and we can give it to him for his birthday :)

Kylie's birthday

 Papa and Grandma Gerratt came on Saturday and spent a few hours with the kids.

Funny story about her cake.  I was going to make 2 round cakes and put a strawberry cream cheese filling in the middle.  The first cake came out and I had turned it out to cool.  I put the second one in the oven and told Kylie I would be right back and not to touch.  I went and got the stuff from downstairs to make the filling- talked to Kenna about something and then went back upstairs.  The cake that was cooling was missing all but about a fourth around the edges.  Kylie had eaten all of it.  When I asked her why she told me that "I was hungry and it was right there."  Well- I could no longer get the filling in it so we just made the frosting yellow and pieced it together the best that I could.  I defrosted the strawberries and poured them over the top- so she could still have the strawberries.  Silly Girl!

4 years!

Today is Kylie's 4th Birthday!

  (Kylie came out of her room dressed like this a few weeks ago- and said "Am I so pretty?")

Family Time

Last week Warren's brother Spencer was in town. Warren had Wednesday off - so we spent most of the day with them. We went to lunch and to the dinosaur exhibit at the museum. One other night they came over after the girls were in bed and we played games. We were glad that they were able to visit and we got to spend some time with them. (Thanks for the pictures Spencer and Brianna.)

Yellowstone Bear World brought baby bears to Blast- Off. We went and got our picture taken with one. Kenna was holding the bear- but Daniel wouldn't sit next to the girls- so Warren and I jumped in the picture. The girls were so excited to be able to hold and pet a real bear.

We registered her for kindergarten on Tuesday- She is really excited to go to a real school.
