Father's Day Weekend

On Thursday Warren's Father's day gift showed up in the mail. I had him open it - He was surprised and he likes it a lot. Saturday afternoon we headed over to Burley. We went boating and had a pizza party that night. Sunday we went to the Spanish Branch with my parents, had lunch, and then went and got our family pictures done. My sister has a friend that takes really good pictures and we were glad that she could do them at last minute. It was a good weekend.

A week of firsts...

Last week was a week of first for us. The girls started swimming lessons and Warren started his new job.  Kenna was a little nervous at first, but now is really enjoying learning new things.  Kylie went with her teacher and loves swimming.  One thing we have to remind her every morning before lessons is that she needs to listen to her teacher and not talk so much to the other kids. (At least when the teacher is talking and teaching her something new.)

Warren was going to stay at Wells Fargo for a full 2 weeks, but the day after he put in his 2 week notice his boss came and talked to him.  She told him that HR people said that he needed to just be done that day.  The next Monday- last week- he started his new job at East Idaho Credit Union in Rexburg.  He had a good first week- it will be a really good change for us.

Kenna learned swim safety today.  She learned what to do if she can no longer swim, how to grab a pole and help someone, and why we wear life jackets.  I watched a lot of it and she told me all about it when we got home.
