First day
Today was Kenna's very first day of school. She was a little bit nervous yesterday, and asked if she could have one more day to stay home. After we talked to her about school and how much fun she would have she seemed a little bit better. She slept really well last night and was ready to go this morning. It started a little bit later today and they had a parent meeting while they took the kids on a tour of the school. When the kids came back the teacher told the parents good bye and we got to go on the tour. I took Kylie with me (she started joy school today) and a friend watched Daniel for me. I told Kenna bye and then left. She started to tear up a little bit, but one of the aids is in our ward and she was right there to help her. I picked Daniel up and took Kylie to Joy School. Kylie was just fine when I left. ( I was told that she was a big helper with everyone and gave up toys so their wouldn't be fights.) I went and got Kenna from school, waited a little bit, then got Kylie. Kenna told me that they got to read a story, sing songs, make a hat, and play outside. She also informed me that tomorrow was computer day and that is her favorite. She said she had a good day, but didn't really talk to the other kids (except for the one girl she already knew.) Hopefully she starts to warm up a little bit and not be too shy.

Our Primary
This year in our primary we have done a few fun activities. At the beginning of the year they started rotating CTR guy around. Each family has CTR guy for a week and he helps us Choose the Right, and then the next Sunday the kids in the family get to tell the primary what CTR guy helped them do. We also take pictures choosing the right with CTR guy. And if we knew someone who was living or on a mission somewhere else in the world we would be able to send them CTR guy as well. I sent one to my sister (who was on a mission) and she got a picture of her and her companion in Argentina. When we went to Redfish, it was our week with CTR guy. We talked as a family about Heavenly Father's creations and made a list of everything we could see that Heavenly Father created. We talked about how Heavenly Father also created our bodies and that they are special and that we need to take care of them. When we got home from camping we went shopping and bought good foods to eat to help our bodies grow strong and healthy.

The other thing our Primary did was a summer reading program. They do it for 8 weeks and at the end of summer have a fun primary activity. This year we read about Scripture heroes that choose the right and did an activity that went with it. For the big primary activity we went and play games that went along with the scriptures that we read. At the end of the activity the kids that had all 8 stamps in their books from reading every week got a special prize. It was great for our family to read and talk about the different heroes from the scriptures and participate in the activity.
