Today was Kylie's birthday! We had Joyschool today, she helped me make her cake, and tonight Grandma and Grandpa Haws came for cake and ice cream and to see her open presents. She said it was a good birthday. We will continue celebrating this weekend in Burley. (and we registered her for kindergarten a couple of weeks ago- can't believe she will be in school this next fall...)
Having help opening presents...
New pants
A ballet book
Jasmine barbie (the girls are slowly collecting all the princess barbies...)
Cute shirt from G and G Haws
Cinderella doll from G and G Haws
Flowers from Dad and Kenna- Warren ordered them and had them delivered to her
The new movie she wanted- Winks
Strawberry cake with green frosting- Kenna wanted to pink and so Kylie said it would be okay if I wrote on it with pink frosting.

An Update...
A couple of days after Kenna's birthday my parents were able to come. Kenna opened presents and we had a cake and ice cream. The next day a huge storm blew in, once it calmed down a little bit the girls went out to play in the snow while Warren shoveled.
A week later Warren's brother Spencer came into town. We got to see him a few different times throughout the week that he was here. One of the things that we went and did with Spencer and Brianna was go to the museum to see the Carousel exhibit. Since we had a few storms and lots of snow, the girls went sledding down Grandpa and Grandma Haws big hill. Daniel went down once with Kenna and didn't like it, and then Warren took him down. He still wasn't very thrilled about it.
For Valentine's Day the girls both had parties at school. Kenna's class made their own buckets with a number 10 can and decorated it. Kylie had a small party at Joy School- they had pink heart shaped pancakes for snack- she was very excited about it. That night we got them stuffed animals (we thought that was better than candy...) and had a nice dinner as a family. The Tuesday after our Young Women's in the ward held a kids camp where we could drop kids off for a couple of hours. The kids played games, had a snack, and played with toys.
Kylie loves Joy School and I have been trying to work with her with her letters and numbers. Kenna still loves school, but doesn't like to do her homework very much. I taught the girls UNO this last week- thinking that it would help Kylie learn her numbers and work on her colors. They both like playing- so I worked out a deal with Kenna with it. For every game we play of UNO she has to do one page of homework. That has really worked out- and it has really helped Kylie with her numbers.
Daniel has started into the terrible twos- even though he won't be two for another couple of months. He likes to pick out his own clothes, his own food, and what he will play with. He thinks that he is as big as his sisters and that he can do everything they do.
Playing in the snow Jan 27th.
Helping shovel the drive way.
Riding on the carousel at the museum.
An exhibit at the museum.
