Easter Weekend

For the weekend, I took the kids to Burley for a visit.  Since it was the start of our spring break and Warren was going to have to work a lot, we thought it would be a good change of pace.  (And it was!)  I got there Friday late afternoon and stayed until Monday afternoon.  My mom thought it would be fun to keep the girls for a couple extra days and brought them back today.
On Saturday Daniel and I got our hair cut, the girls made candy birds nest, cupcake baskets, and helped boil eggs to color.  In the afternoon we colored the eggs and finished the cupcake baskets.  The kids played outside a lot- it was really warm and so nice to be outside.
On Easter we put everything in one big basket and had shared everything.  We got the kids a notebook with crayons and stickers to use in church.  We also got them new dresses and Daniel a new church outfit.  (My brother in law is getting married in a couple of months and I found pink dresses for them to wear then as well.)  I filled some plastic eggs with candy and my mom put in a lot of candy as well.  Beverly was able to come Saturday night and we spent Easter with her too.  Once kids were ready for church we got some cute pictures of the kids and then after church we got some pictures outside.
On Monday we played a lot and the girls got their hair cut before I headed back.  My mom took them to the park to play on Tuesday and today after she brought them back we got some lunch and had a picnic and played at the park here.  They have had a good spring break so far.
