Movie in the park

This summer our community has decided to put on a movie in the park.  It is the last Friday of every month.  We decided to go to Frozen on Friday.  It was a lot of fun.  We took some water and treats in a cooler and blankets for the kids to wrap in while watching the movie.  We got there really early so the kids got to play in the bouncy house and Warren got to help set up the screen.

I have been training to ride my bike in the spudman race.  I ride along the river and have this view every other night.

Swim Lessons

This year the 3 older kids took swim lessons.  They all love swimming and improved a lot during the 2 weeks of lessons.

10 months and walking

Kristie was 10 months on Monday.  Kristie has been taking a couple of steps but then would sit down and crawl.  Yesterday she started to really take off and walk.  Now she doesn't want crawl anymore, just walk.  The  other day Kylie had taken the cushions off the couch and I caught Kristie trying to climb up the back of it.  Today she thought she should climb the stairs.  I heard her and thought she was in the playroom because I had put the gate up, but one of the older kids must have taken it down and she was almost to the top!

Fun Weekend

On Friday after school we headed over to Burley for a mini vacation.  The kids played outside, rode the 4-wheeler with my mom, girls had a sleep-over at Mindy's, rode horses and went to the park.  It was a good weekend and fun way to start our summer.

Mom and Kylie riding the horse... she really wanted to go riding, but then saw them and thought they were really big.  It took some convincing to get her up there and calmed down.

Daniel wanted the rope to take the horses back to the pasture... once he picked up the rope he did a great job.
